They have outdone themselves, ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce to you, two great men who made this bistro a success in just a few months not only to our Maltese community, but also to our bellies, but in a healthy way π
I decided to collaborate with Foam & Fork as I tried their food and it was simply amazing, I was sceptic with the idea of healthy food as we all have this taboo that healthy food might taste bleh, but with a good chef behind the kitchen counter, that’s a whole completely new sensation to your taste buds, but anyhow please enjoy Foam and Fork’s Yummy Square recipe for those busy people who are always on the go:
Recipe: (Prep – 15mins)
140ml – Coconut Oil
130ml – Agave
200grms – Almonds (Toasted)
400grms – Hazelnuts (Toasted)
200grms – Coconut (Desiccated)
90grms – Chia Seeds
300grms – Dates
1/2 TSP – Salt
2TSP – Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
- Blend (drained) dates, coconut (melted) oil and vanilla first to form a paste.
- Add in toasted (shredded) nuts, chia seeds, salt, coconut (desiccated) and agave
- Mix them all up
- Wrap in baking paper and press firmly nice and flat
- Cut in squares or any shape you want
