Ever went to a toy store and said, “$%#$, those are expensive toys!” Nowadays baby toys are a bit expensive to purchase, but I have a solution for you 💪

**Drum Roll Please**🥁🥁

D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) Toys, yes the most inexpensive objects laying around the house can all be turned into your child’s favourite toy, check out my list below:

The Famous Cardboard Box:

Bought a new TV or moving? Keep the boxes, one for re-using and secondly to turn your box into a secret hideout, camping inside the house or turn it into a palace for your princess and you’re the dragon 😆 The beauty of a box can be turned into anything your child’s heart desire.

Bed Sheets:

Just don’t tell your wife, you used the bedsheets, to play superman with your child and got it all dirty 😂 The bedsheets can be used as clothing, capes or for your beloved daughter it can be laid for the famous tea party she has been telling you for a while.

Kitchen Pots:

Turn your kitchen utensils into instruments, turn your pots upside down and let the imagination of you and your child run wild. Play drums by getting a wooden spoon or better than that get the pasta sieve and let your child wear it as a helmet ❤ Be creative and turn your kitchenware into a whole day fun with the kids.

Plastic Bottle:

Ever wondered what you can do with a plastic bottle? Easy turn it into a rattle 😂 Grab some small rocks or dried peas and turn the most useless thing into the most irritable thing your child can use, but hey it can entertain your child for a while, whilst you’re trying to watch a football match 🙌

Paper Clips:

Show off hands, whoever used paperclips as bracelets when they were still in school? Guilty, I did, what else to do when you’re trying to pay attention in an English Literature class. So, why not turn your childhood memories and do the same with your children? Turn them into bracelets, necklaces and if you’re more creative maybe outline some animals 🐖

Ice, Ice baby:

Grab some ice-cubes and entertain your infant for minutes or if your child is a bit older, grab some tupperware (shaped for ice-lollies), help them slice some fruits, add some water, add the fruits or blended fruit and freeze them, After that let them enjoy their creation and can also be a refreshing snack after.

The Spoon:

Oh, spoon I can imagine how many times I used you like a microphone to entertain my daughter and for that I am sorry you had to listen to my horrid voice 😂 Yes, you guessed well, use the spoon as a microphone or else a magic wand and let your daughter turn you into a 🐖

Trust me, parents, there are so many objects which can be used, these are some I used with my daughter and I not only entertained her but also myself. Avoid the TV and start using your imagination as this helps your child be creative 🤗
